The Zoning Board of Appeals is comprised of seven members. A quorum of four members is necessary, in order to conduct business. Any decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall be based on an affirmative vote of those members voting.

Jurisdiction

The Zoning Board of Appeals is responsible for the following duties:

To hear objections to or appeals of final determination or decisions made by the zoning administrator, or Site Plan Review Board.

To approve or disapprove major variations and minor variations for which objections have been filed from the terms of this ordinance in the manner set forth in the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and Land Development Code for the City of Peoria pertaining to variances.
