A rain barrel collects water from roof downspouts and stores it for later use. Rainwater can be used for any non-potable purpose such as watering plants, washing cars or bathing pets.

Rain Barrels are available for purchase from the City at a reduced rate.  Program is open to City of Peoria residents only.

Advance Orders and Payment

Advance orders must be place, in person, in the Office of the City Treasurer. Payment by cash or check must be submitted at time of order. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted.

Pick Up Instructions

The orders will be available for pick-up on select dates from the Public Works Operations & Maintenance Facility. Advance orders must be made at City Hall.  Payments cannot be accepted at the pick up location.
