W. Eric Turner
Council Member at Large
May 1999 - Current

Dear Citizens,

As your at-large representative on the Peoria City Council, I am dedicated and committed to representing you with integrity and in leading a revolutionary change in the City’s governmental structure that focuses on improving the quality of life for all Peorian’s with improved services and accountability. I am an active advocate and I strive to ensure that all citizens receive their fair share of City resources.

Even though our city is going through some tough times currently, we are still committed to providing the resources to deal with the problems facing our neighborhoods; drugs, gangs, unclean streets, dilapidated infrastructure and many more.

My vision for our City is simple – I want Peoria to be the best place in the world for you! Through my service on the council I have demonstrated a commitment and proven ability to help make this vision a reality. In my conversations with citizens all over this city, I have learned that we must make government work better, improve our quality of life, and ensure that our community is safe, sustainable and thriving.

Since my installation in 2003, I have worked to build a “Best in Class” managed city by strengthening existing frameworks, implementing progressive changes and making the tough decisions necessary to improve our city.

Because I represent you as an at-large councilman, I want to hear about your concerns and issues. Please let me know how we can work together to make the City of Peoria a better place to live.

Thank you,

W. Eric Turner
