All matters listed under CONSENT AGENDA are considered to be routine and non-controversial by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion and one roll call vote.  There will not be separate discussion on these items.  If discussion is desired by a Citizen or Members of the Council, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed immediately after approval of the Consent Agenda.  Citizens desiring discussion on any item listed under the CONSENT AGENDA should contact a Council Member or the City Clerk prior to the meeting and request that the item be removed for discussion.

(07-076)          Communication from the City Manager and Director of Economic Development Requesting City Council Direction Regarding the REQUEST from the PEORIA CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY to Include the Property Located at the NORTHEAST CORNER of WILLIAM KUMPF BOULEVARD and JEFFERSON STREET in the WAREHOUSE DISTRICT TIF STUDY AREA.

A.                  NOTICE OF LAWSUIT on Behalf of TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH Regarding Their Desire to Demolish the Building Located at 1319 HAMILTON BOULEVARD to Develop the Site as a Family Life Center, with Recommendation to Receive and File and Refer to the Legal Department.

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation to Enter into an AGREEMENT with the U.S. CENSUS BUREAU to Conduct a SPECIAL CENSUS in an Estimated Total Cost of $123,674.00.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Police Chief Requesting Adoption of an ORDINANCE Amending CHAPTER 24 of the Code of the City of Peoria Relating to Section 24-34(a) Regarding TEMPORARY PROMOTIONS Increasing the Length of a 60-Day Temporary Promotion to 180-Day Maximum.

 

D.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Adoption of an ORDINANCE Amending CHAPTER 26 of the Code of the City of Peoria Relating to STREET and RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMITS, FEES EXCAVATIONS, OBSTRUCTIONS, and OCCUPATIONS.
