B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Chief of Police Requesting Approval of a SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE of an Additional 43 TASER UNITS and ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT from RAY O'HERRON, in the Total Amount of $34,814.00 Purchased with Funds from the 2006 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant.

ITEM NO. 4           Communication from the City Manager and Director of Economic Development Requesting Approval of the INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT Between the City of Peoria and THE PLEASURE DRIVEWAY AND PARK DISTRICT OF PEORIA, in the Amount of $86,500.00 for the GATEWAY and RIVERFRONT EVENTS PROGRAMMING.

 

ITEM NO. 5           Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Authorization for the CONVERSION of WASHINGTON STREET from its Present Configuration Between McArthur Highway to Near Harrison Street to a Roadway that has Three Motor Vehicle Traffic Lanes, One Through Lane in Each Direction, and One Center left-Turn Lane, Including One Parallel Parking Lane along Each Side of the Street.

 

ITEM NO. 6           Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission to Adopt an ORDINANCE Granting a SPECIAL USE in a Class O-2 (Exclusive Office Park) District for a HEALTH CENTER (Long Term Acute Care Hospital) for Property Located at Various Parcels, Generally Bounded by R.B. Garrett Avenue to the North, Hightower Street to the East, Fourth Street to the South, and Richard Pryor Place to the West, with Conditions.
