A.                  TAG DAY REQUEST from the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY to Collect Donations for RELAY FOR LIFE from Pedestrians Near Brown Bag-It Events on Monday, August 14, Wednesday, August 16, 2006, and Friday, August 18, 2006. (Dates are Open)

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of an EXTENSION of ALARM MONITORING and MAINTENANCE SERVICES CONTRACT with OBERLANDER ALARM SYSTEMS, INC., as Outlined.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Authorization to Enter into an AGREEMENT with FIRST STATES INVESTORS 4500 LLC, as Owners of the NATIONAL CITY BANK BUILDING at 301 S. D.                 Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Authorization for the City Manager to Execute an AMENDMENT to the 1996 INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT with the PEORIA CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY for the Continuation of an Additional 4% of HOTEL TAX REVENUES COLLECTED to be Remanded to the PEORIA AREA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU for FOUR YEARS from September 1, 2006, to August 31, 2010.

 

E.                 Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Authorization for the City Manager to Execute an AMENDMENT to the 1996 INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT with the PEORIA CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY to EXTEND OPERATIONAL FUNDING for ARTSPARTNERS and Permit ARTSPARTNERS to Continue Receiving 2.5% of the RESTAURANT TAX REVENUE COLLECTED, Not to Exceed $75,000.00 Annually, Through August 31, 2008.

 

F.                  Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Recommending Adoption of an ORDINANCE Amending CHAPTER 2 of the Code of the City of Peoria Pertaining to the BOARD of FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS Eliminating Probationary Police Officers' and Probationary Firefighters' Appeal Rights.

 

G.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Planning Commission to Adopt an ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance No. 15,658, by Adding Additional Property at 709 MORGAN STREET, and by Adding SIX DWELLING UNITS and EIGHT PARKING SPACES to the GLEN/PERRY MULTI-FAMILY PLAN Located at 804 - 808 GLENDALE AVENUE, 706 - 716 WAYNE STREET, and 709 MORGAN STREET, with Condition.

 

H.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Recommending Adoption of an ORDINANCE Approving the PRIVATE STREET, PRIVATE STREET NAME, and PRIVATE STREET MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT for THOMAS DAVIS DRIVE, Located South of War Memorial Drive, East of Orange Prairie Road, West of Summershade Circle, Off of Landens Way.

 

I.                     Communication from the City Manager and Director of Economic Development Requesting Approval of the REVISIONS to the FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM for the HISTORIC SHERIDAN TRIANGLE BUSINESS DISTRICT and PROSPECT ROAD BUSINESS DISTRICT as Outlined.

 

J.                   Communication from the City Manager and Director of Economic Development Requesting Approval of a FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT for WHITEY'S TIP TOP TAVERN Totaling $16,395.00 (City's Facade Grant Share being $8,197.50) as Stipulated by the HISTORIC SHERIDAN TRIANGLE BUSINESS DISTRICT FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.

 

K.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Economic Development Requesting Approval of a FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT for TIRA OIL, INC. (d/b/a Clark Gas Station) Totaling $20,953.98 (City Facade Grant Share being $10,000.00) as Stipulated by the PROSPECT ROAD BUSINESS DISTRICT FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.

UNIVERSITY AVENUE; with Conditions to Return the Building Facade and Canopy to the Mansard Style with Shingles and Allow the Kerosene Pump Located in the Front Yard Setback in the Northeast Corner of the Site to Remain Installed and Additional Landscaping be Added; OR

 

B.         ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance 11,805, an EXISTING USE WITH APPROVAL as a SPECIAL USE in a Class C-1 (General Commercial) District for a GAS STATION for the Property Located at 6025 N.
