A.                  NOTICE of LAWSUIT Filed on Behalf of ANGELA PERILLES Regarding a Complaint of Personal Injury Resulting from a fall while Walking Along the Sidewalk at 5007 N. University on or about July 30, 2005, with Recommendation to Receive and File and Refer to the Legal Department.

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Approval of a RESOLUTION Pertaining to NOISE BARRIERS on INTERSTATE ROUTE 74, Peoria, Illinois. (Refer to Item No. 06-425)

(06-348)          REPORT from the CITY COUNCIL AD HOC COMMITTEE ON COMMISSIONS, with Possible Action Requested as Follows:  Take Action on Item V.C. 3, to Streamline the Duties of the Fire & Police Commission by a) Eliminating a Probationary Employee’s Appeal Rights; b) Eliminating the Commission’s Interview of Applicants; c) Establishing a Comprehensive Eligibility List to reduce the need for hearings; and d) Streamline the hiring process regarding Polygraph and Psychological Testing Activities.
