ITEM NO. 3     CONSIDERATION OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS BY OMNIBUS VOTE, for the City of Peoria, with Recommendations as Outlined:

A.                  Communication from the City Manager, Economic Development Director and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the LOW BID of M & O ENVIRONMENTAL COMPANY, in the Amount of $15,600.00 for ASBESTOS ABATEMENT at 411 S. MACARTHUR HIGHWAY.

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Chief of Police Requesting Approval of a New THREE-YEAR CONTRACT with SAM HARRIS UNIFORMS for the PURCHASE of UNIFORMS for Commissioned Officers, Civilian Personnel, Parking Enforcement Officers and School Crossing Guards.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Recommending Approval of the HUD ANNUAL PLAN for FISCAL YEAR 2006, and to Forward to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with a Total GRANT Request Amount of $3,000,136.00.

 

D.                 Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Recommending Approval of a RESOLUTION Regarding the RELEASE of EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES.

I.                     Communication from the City Manager and Finance Director/Comptroller Requesting Approval of the ESTIMATE of TAXES to be LEVIED for the City of Peoria Pursuant to 35 ILCS 200/18-60, in the Amount of $20,940,088.00, at a Rate not to Exceed $1.2899.

 

 

 

 

ITEM NO. 4           Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Requesting to Concur with the Recommendations from the Administration to Approve, and the Heart of Peoria Commission to Consider Comments, the PRELIMINARY SITE PLAN for the MUSEUM SQUARE PROJECT, and to Authorize the City Manager to Negotiate Changes to the CITY OF PEORIA/MUSEUM BLOCK REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT that will Incorporate the PRELIMINARY SITE PLAN.

(05-591)          Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the SEWER IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT with the SANITARY DISTRICT for the REPAIR OF SEWERS, as Part of the City of Peoria’s SEWER REHABILITATION DESIGN AREA 4 – DIVISIONS A & B, and Awarding the CONTRACT to HOERR CONSTRUCTION, INC. for DIVISION A, in the Amount of $180,516.00, and to MICHELS CORPORATION for DIVISION B, in the Amount of $722,944.00, AND Communication from the City Manager and Director of Equal Opportunity Office Recommending to Receive and File the REPORT BACK Regarding COMPLIANCE with the GOOD FAITH EFFORT REQUIREMENTS.
