ITEM NO. 1     Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Requesting to Receive and File the PRESENTATION from FERRELL MADDEN ASSOCIATES on FORM-BASED CODES

 

iTEM NO. 2     Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Requesting to Receive the PRELIMINARY SITE PLAN for the MUSEUM SQUARE PROJECT for REVIEW and CONSIDERATION for APPROVAL the First Part of November, 2005.

 

ITEM NO. 3     CONSIDERATION OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS BY OMNIBUS  VOTE, for the City of Peoria, with Recommendations as Outlined:

A.                  Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the LOW BID of R.A. CULLINAN, INC. for a CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT for PARTIAL DEPTH PATCHING, BITUMINOUS CONCRETE SURFACE REMOVAL, LEVELING BINDER, and BITUMINOUS OVERLAY on STATE STREET from Washington Street to the River, UNIVERSITY STREET, from McClure to Nebraska, and FORREST HILL, from Sterling Avenue to Lehman Road, in the Amount of $248,667.65.

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the LOW BID of REYNOLDS FORD, in the Amount of $22,551.00, for ONE E-350 VAN with Walk-In Body for Facility Maintenance.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the SEWER IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT with the SANITARY DISTRICT for the REPAIR OF SEWERS, as Part of the City of Peoria's SEWER REHABILITATION DESIGN AREA 4 - DIVISIONS A & B, and Awarding the CONTRACT to HOERR CONSTRUCTION, INC. for DIVISION A, in the Amount of $180,516.00, and to MICHELS CORPORATION for DIVISION B, in the Amount of $722,944.00.

 

D.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Requesting Approval of a RESOLUTION Authorizing the SALVATION ARMY to SUBMIT an APPLICATION to the ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, Available through the ILLINOIS EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANTS PROGRAM, in the Amount of $75,000.00.

 

E.                 Communication from the City Manager and Finance Director/Comptroller Requesting Adoption of an ORDINANCE Amending the BUDGET of the City of Peoria for FISCAL YEAR 2005 Relating to VARIOUS LIBRARY GRANTS, GIFTS and MEMORIALS, in the Amount of $46,773.00 and  S.L.A.T.E. INTEREST INCOME of $700.00.

 

F.                  Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting to Receive and File the Report Regarding the Consideration of Constructing a BIKING/HIKING TRAIL Along the East Side of KNOXVILLE AVENUE from its Southern Mt. Hawley Road Intersection to Detweiller Drive.
