PEORIA CITY COUNCIL/PEORIA CHAMBER BOARD LEADERSHIP MEETING - To be Held at the Radisson Hotel, 117 N. Western Avenue, Peoria, Illinois.

All matters listed under CONSENT AGENDA are considered to be routine and non-controversial by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion and one roll call vote. There will not be separate discussion on these items. If discussion is desired by a Citizen or Members of the Council, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed immediately after approval of the Consent Agenda. Citizens desiring discussion on any item listed under the CONSENT AGENDA should contact a Council Member or the City Clerk prior to the meeting and request that the item be removed for discussion.

ITEM NO. 1 CONSIDERATION OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS BY OMNIBUS VOTE, for the City of Peoria, with Recommendations as Outlined:

A. NOTICE OF LAWSUIT on Behalf of HEATHER WANN Regarding a Claim that Her Civil Rights were Violated, with Recommendation to Receive and File and Refer to the Legal Department.

B. NOTICE OF LAWSUIT on Behalf of TARA SIMMS Regarding an Accident at 2000 NORTH BIGELOW STREET on September 17, 2004, with Recommendation to Receive and File and Refer to the Legal Department.

C. Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the LOW BID for a CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT for JOINT REPAIR, PARTIAL DEPTH PATCHING, and BITUMINOUS OVERLAY on ORANGE PRAIRIE ROAD, from CHARTER OAK ROAD to STONEBRIDGE COURT, in the Amount of $351,228.30.

D. Communication from the City Manager and Fire Chief Requesting Acceptance of a BID for PURCHASE of TWO NEW FIRE DEPARTMENT ENGINE VEHICLES from LAKELAND FIRE EQUIPMENT, in the Amount of $662,127.

E. Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Adoption of an ORDINANCE Amending CHAPTER 30 of the Code of the City of Peoria Relating to TAXICAB RATES, Providing for a $1.00 Surcharge When Gasoline is Greater than $2.40 a Gallon, and $.50 Surcharge when Gasoline is Less than $2.40, but More than $2.00 per Gallon.

F. REPORT from CITY TREASURER REGINALD A. WILLIS - August, 2005, with Recommendation to Receive and File.

(05-481) Communication from the City Manager, Chief of Police, and Finance Director/Comptroller Requesting Adoption of an ORDINANCE Amending CHAPTER 30 of the Code of the City of Peoria Relating to ROTATION OF TOW LIST Imposing a Fee of $25.00 Upon Each Tow Operator for Each Rotation Tow, with a REQUEST FOR DEFERRAL.

(05-550) Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Requesting Approval of the Following:

A. RESOLUTION Approving the ANNEXATION AGREEMENT for Property Located East of Illinois Route 6, South of Charter Oak Road, Along the East Side of CHARTER OAK LANE, Identified as Part of Parcel Identification Numbers 13-23-200-027 and 13-23-200-022, all Located Within One and One -Half Miles of the City of Peoria.

B. ORDINANCE Annexing Territory Contiguous to the City of Peoria - 5414 N. CHARTER OAK LANE (Temporary Address).

C. RESOLUTION Approving the PRELIMINARY PLAT of the SABLE CREEK SUBDIVISION, a Single-Family Residential Development Located East of Illinois Route 6, South of Charter Oak Road, Along the East Side of CHARTER OAK LANE.
