All matters listed under CONSENT AGENDA are considered to be routine and non-controversial by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion and one roll call vote.  There will not be separate discussion on these items.  If discussion is desired by a Citizen or Members of the Council, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed immediately after approval of the Consent Agenda.  Citizens desiring discussion on any item listed under the CONSENT AGENDA should contact a Council Member or the City Clerk prior to the meeting and request that the item be removed for discussion.

A.                  TAG DAY REQUEST from KIWANIS CLUB OF PEORIA Requesting Permission to ACCEPT DONATIONS from Pedestrians on the Streets of Peoria, as Outlined, for their ANNUAL PEANUT DAY to be Held on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2005.  (Date is Open)

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the LOW BID of SCHELL SYSTEMS INC. for ANNUAL HVAC MAINTENANCE CONTRACT, in the Estimated Annual Amount of $5,000.00.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of the LOW BID of TOBIN BROTHERS INC. for the ANNUAL PLUMBING MAINTENANCE CONTRACT, in the Estimated Annual Amount of $45,000.00.

K.                 Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Approval of the APPLICATION for a CLASS H (Temporary Outdoor) LIQUOR LICENSE for the PEORIA FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL #50 for an EVENT to be Held on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2005, on WATER STREET.

 

L.                  Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Approval of the SITE APPLICATION for a CLASS B (Restaurant) LIQUOR LICENSE for 1621 N. KNOXVILLE, with Recommendation by the Liquor Commission to Approve.

ITEM NO. 4           Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting that Direction be Given to the Corporation Counsel to TAKE APPROPRIATE LEGAL ACTION Against PIONEER RAIL and/or METROPLEX to FACILITATE COMPLETION of the EXTENSION of the CITY-OWNED SPUR.

 

ITEM NO. 5           Communication from the City Manager and Senior Economic Development Specialist Requesting Approval of the INTERSECTION DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT Between the City of Peoria, SUDS FAMILY LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, and LFH-100, L.L.C., for the CONSTRUCTION of a SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION and RELATED IMPROVEMENTS to ALLEN ROAD, and Requesting Authorization for the City Manager to Execute the Necessary Documents.
