PUBLIC HEARING Regarding Proposed ANNEXATION of Property Approximately Bounded by ALLEN ROAD and Parcel Nos. 09-30-351-014 and 08-36-200-014 on the East, Parcel Nos. 09-19-300-002 and 08-24-400-002 on the North, Parcel Nos. 08-25-100-002 and 08-25-503-003 on the West, and Parcel Nos. 08-36-100-003 and 08-36-200-006 on the South all being Located in Radnor and Medina Townships.

 

 

All matters listed under CONSENT AGENDA are considered to be routine and non-controversial by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion and one roll call vote.  There will not be separate discussion on these items.  If discussion is desired by a Citizen or Members of the Council, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed immediately after approval of the Consent Agenda.  Citizens desiring discussion on any item listed under the CONSENT AGENDA should contact a Council Member or the City Clerk prior to the meeting and request that the item be removed for discussion.

ITEM NO. 1     CONSIDERATION OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS BY OMNIBUS  VOTE, for the City of Peoria, with Recommendations as Outlined:

A.                  Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel Requesting Authorization for the Corporation Counsel to RELEASE the CITY'S DEMOLITION LIEN on the Property at 1718 ANTOINETTE in Exchange for Payment of $11,000.00.

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Assistant Director of Planning and Growth Management Requesting to Fund HAND UP COMMUNITY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION, in the Amount of $131,945, of HOME CHDO FUNDS for the Construction of Three New Affordable Single Family Owner-Occupied Houses in the RIDGEWOOD KNOLLS SUBDIVISION.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Interim Director of Economic Development Recommending Approval to TRANSFER VACANT LOTS Located at 500, 502, and 504 E. ILLINOIS STREET, and 723 N. E. MONROE STREET to the Respective Neighborhood Associations for Maintenance and Construction of a Park, with Recommendation from the Peoria Medical and Technology District Commission to Approve the Transfer as Described, and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute all Necessary Documents.

 

D.                 Communication from the City Manager and Assistant Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Medical and Technology District Commission and City Staff to Adopt an Ordinance Granting a SPECIAL USE for THREE NEIGHBORHOOD POCKET PARKS: SITE 1 Located at 1302 N. SHERIDAN ROAD Zoned Class R-4 (Single-Family Residential) District; SITE 2 Located at 500, 502, 504 E. ILLINOIS Zoned R-4 (Single-Family Residential) District; and SITE 3 Located at 723 N. E. MONROE Zoned R-8 (Multi-Family Residential) District.

 

E.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management Recommending Adoption of an ORDINANCE Approving the FINAL PLAN for the VILLAS at KNOXVILLE PLACE CONDOMINIUMS, a Multi-Family Residential Development Located South of Pioneer Parkway, North of Teton Drive, Along the West Side of Knoxville.

 

F.                  Communication from the City Manager and Assistant Director of Planning and Growth Management Recommending Adoption of the Following:

 

1.         ORDINANCE Approving the FINAL PLAT for HICKORY OAKS SUBDIVISION, a Single-Family Residential Development Located North of IL Route 6, South of Mossville Road, East of Knoxville Avenue, and Off of South Forest Trail Road, with Condition.

 

2.         ORDINANCE Approving the PRIVATE STREET, PRIVATE STREET NAME, and PRIVATE STREET MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT for HICKORY OAKS SUBDIVISION, a Single-Family Residential Development Located North of IL Route 6, South of Mossville Road, East of Knoxville Avenue, and Off of South Forest Trail Road.

 

G.                 Communication from the City Manager and Public Information Officer Recommending Approval of DATES for INFORMATIONAL FORUMS to Discuss the CABLE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT on July 14, 2005, from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.
