ITEM NO. 1     CONSIDERATION OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS BY OMNIBUS  VOTE, for the City of Peoria, with Recommendations as Outlined:

A.                  Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with Recommendation to Approve the PUBLIC SHARE of CBD STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENT - DEPOT BUILDING at 60 STATE STREET.

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with Recommendation to Approve the CONTRACT with J. GILL AND COMPANY for the EXPANSION JOINT REPLACEMENT at Various PARKING DECKS, in the Base Bid Amount of $68,890.00.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Inspections with Recommendation to Authorize the City Manager to Execute CONTRACTS with HULSE'S LAWNCARE, CB ENTERPRISES and the Other Backup Contractors to Perform ABATEMENT of WEEDS and LITTER on PRIVATE LOTS throughout the City.

 

D.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation to Enter Into CONTRACTS with WARDCLIFFE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, in an Amount Not to Exceed $5,730.00, EAST BLUFF UNITED NEIGHBORHOOD, in an Amount Not to Exceed $4,280.00, MOSS BRADLEY RESIDENTIAL ASSOCIATION, in an Amount Not to Exceed $5,300.00, and EAST BLUFF SERENITY NEIGHBORHOOD, in an Amount Not to Exceed $5,750.00 for the IMPLEMENTATION of the 2005 NEIGHBORHOOD PRIDE WEEK PROGRAM.

 

E.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with Recommendation to Approve a JOINT AGREEMENT with the ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (IDOT) for the IMPROVEMENT of a PORTION of INTERSTATE 74, From North of Nebraska Avenue to West of Sterling Avenue, Including the Interchange with War Memorial Drive, with an MFT RESOLUTION, in the Amount of $30,530.00.

 

F.                  Communication from the City Manager and Finance Director/Comptroller with Recommendation to Adopt an ORDINANCE Amending the BUDGET of the City of Peoria for FISCAL YEAR 2005 Relating to a JOINT AGREEMENT with ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (IDOT) for the INTERSTATE 74 IMPROVEMENT from North of Nebraska Avenue to West of Sterling Avenue, Including the Interchange with War Memorial Drive.

H.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission to Adopt an ORDINANCE Amending APPENDIX B of the Code of the City of Peoria Relating to Zoning for Various TEXT ADJUSTMENTS Regarding SCOREBOARDS.

 

I.                     Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission and Staff to Adopt an ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance No. 15,188, an EXISTING SPECIAL USE in a Class R-5 (Residential Cluster Development) District for a BUILDING and PARKING LOT ADDITION for the Property Located at 2400 NORTHMOOR ROAD, with Conditions.

 

J.                   Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission and Staff to Adopt an ORDINANCE Granting a SPECIAL USE in a Class R-4 (Single Family Residential) District for a PARK for the Properties Located at 307 and 309 W. K.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission and Staff to Adopt an ORDINANCE Granting a SPECIAL USE in a Class R-6 (Multi Family Residential) District for TEMPORARY HOUSING of FAMILIES with Patients in Local Hospitals, Otherwise Known as FAMILY HOUSE, for the Property Located at 825 ABINGTON STREET (Temporary Address)., with Conditions.

 

L.                  Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission and Staff to Adopt an ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance No. 15,683, an EXISTING SPECIAL USE in a Class C-2 (Large Scale Commercial) District for a BANK with DRIVE-UP FACILITIES for Property Located at the Southeast Corner of the University Street and Glen Avenue Intersection, Property Identification Number 14-20-401-036, with Conditions.

 

M.                 Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel with Recommendation to Approve the ISSUANCE of a CLASS "H" TEMPORARY OUTDOOR LIQUOR LICENSE for the MARVIN HULT HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER for an Event on September 24, 2005, at 5215 N. Knoxville.

ITEM NO. 2     Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel with Recommendation to Adopt an ORDINANCE Amending CHAPTER 3 of the Code of the City of Peoria Relating to CLASS H LIQUOR LICENSES, Changing the Requirement that the Not-for-Profit be in Actual Existence from One Year to Nine Months.

 

ITEM NO. 3     Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission and Staff to Adopt an ORDINANCE Rezoning Property from the Present Classes A-1 (Agricultural) District and R-3 (Single-Family Residential) Districts to Classes R-3 (Single-Family Residential) District; O-1 (Arterial Office) District; C-1 (General Commercial) District, and C-2 (Large Scale Commercial) District for the Property Located at the Southeast Corner of WAR MEMORIAL DRIVE and ORANGE PRAIRIE ROAD INTERSECTION (Property Identification Numbers 13-10-427-001 & 13-11-300-012).

TWELVE OAKS DRIVE, with Conditions.

 

ITEM NO. 6     Communication from the City Manager and Director of Planning and Growth Management with Recommendation from the Zoning Commission to Approve and Recommendation from Staff to DENY an ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance No. 15,120, an EXISTING SPECIAL USE in a Class R-2 (Single-Family Residential) District for an ADDITIONAL SIGN for the Property Located at 2221 N. GALE AVENUE.

 

ITEM NO. 7     Communication from the City Manager and Corporation Counsel with Recommendation to Approve the ISSUANCE of a CLASS "H" TEMPORARY OUTDOOR LIQUOR LICENSE for the ILLINOIS BLUES COALITION to Hold the ILLINOIS BLUES FESTIVAL on September 2 and 3, 2005, at Riverfront Festival Park.
