All matters listed under CONSENT AGENDA are considered to be routine and non-controversial by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion and one roll call vote.  There will not be separate discussion on these items.  If discussion is desired by a Citizen or Members of the Council, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed immediately after approval of the Consent Agenda.  Citizens desiring discussion on any item listed under the CONSENT AGENDA should contact a Council Member or the City Clerk prior to the meeting and request that the item be removed for discussion.

ITEM NO. 1     CONSIDERATION OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS BY OMNIBUS  VOTE, for the City of Peoria, with Recommendations as Outlined:

A.                  Communication from the City Manager and Fire Chief Requesting Authorization for the SALE of an AMBULANCE Through an ON-LINE AUCTION or OTHER COMPETITIVE PROCESS with FUNDS TO BE RE-APPROPRIATED for FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT.

 

B.                 Communication from the City Manager and Interim Director of Economic Development with Recommendation to ACCEPT the OFFER from ZION BAPTIST CHURCH to PURCHASE the VACANT LOT at 101 N. SARATOGA, in the Amount of $200.00 Plus Closing Costs and to Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Necessary Documents.

 

C.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Human Resources Requesting Authorization to Execute the Necessary Documents to Provide Approval of ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND (I.M.R.F.) BENEFIT PROTECTION LEAVE for CITY EMPLOYEE ROSILEE WALKER.

 

D.                 Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works Requesting Approval of a PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT with HANSON PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC., in an Amount Not to Exceed $9,500.00 to Provide Services During the CONSTRUCTION PHASE of the EXTENSION of the KELLER BRANCH RAIL SERVICE INTO PIONEER PARK.

 

E.                 Communication from the City Manager and Interim Director of Economic Development Recommending Approval of a SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT with COHEN FOUNDATION for the PURCHASE of PROPERTY Located Within the MUSEUM BLOCK, in the Amount of $681,966.
