Subject: City Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Program

The City of Peoria is making available free smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to income eligible households. Both owner occupied and rental properties are eligible to participate.

Peoria Fire Department personnel will install the detectors in the correct locations within the house.
There is no cost to the property owner for this service. Applications can be obtained from the Peoria Fire Department.

The income limits are based on the number of persons in the household as listed below.
