Human Resources

The Human Resources Department is dedicated to promoting the efficiency and effectiveness of governmental operations by the application of sound Human Resource Management practices and by utilizing our creativity and available resources to anticipate the needs of those we serve. We are committed to a service philosophy based on quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness of service. The department is made up three divisions: Personnel Services, Risk Management and Labor Relations. The department currently employs 6 individuals who are responsible for the following areas: Employment, Heathcare and other benefits, Labor Relations, Employment Testing, Classification & Compensation, Risk Management & Safety, City Wide Training programs and Employee Recognition. We strive to do our best to serve both our employees and the public.
