During 2012, the academy will take place mainly at the police station in the Community Training Room but may be held at an "off-site" location depending on the topic.  The training consists of eleven (11) classes which are held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every Wednesday, May 2nd through July 18th.  The topics to be covered:

• Juvenile Investigations
• K9 Unit
• Dispatch
• Special Response Team
• Crime View Mapping & Emergencty Communications Center
• Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team
