The Board of Local Improvements administers the public benefit portion of the City’s Capital Improvement Program, specifically the Special Assessment Program. The Board consists of five members, including the City Engineer, the Corporation Counsel (acting as Secretary), and three citizen members. Former City Engineer Gene Hewitt acts as President of the Board. The Board meets as needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Funding for Special Assessment Projects has been discontinued for the foreseeable future.
